Mr. Rafizi advocates for timely, formal discussions on this matter, emphasizing its importance during a recent engagement session on the 12th Malaysia Plan\u2019s mid-term review. However, the proposal requires approval at a Cabinet meeting before progressing to the Malaysia-Singapore Joint Ministerial Committee for Iskandar Malaysia\u2019s annual meeting, scheduled for mid-July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rafizi further highlighted Johor’s promise as a significant economic driver, especially due to its close proximity to Singapore. This geographical advantage positions Johor as a potential leader in the country’s transition to renewable energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Government support is evident, as seen through the recent lifting of the ban on renewable energy exports. This move is set to bolster Johor’s economic standing even further, facilitating a shift towards cleaner, sustainable energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
